Welcome toSaint Mary's CatholicVoluntary Academy

Weeks 8-10

Hi boys and girls,

I hope that you are all well. I am missing you all VERY much.

I hope that you have managed to have a little rest over half term and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We have been very busy getting school ready for some of the other children who are getting ready to come back in.

I'm sorry that I won't get to see you just yet, but for now you need to keep on working hard at home and I will be very much looking forward to when I can see all your lovely smiling faces.

I have changed our home learning a little bit and have posted 3 weeks in one grid for you. The maths will no longer be daily sheets that I am uploading, but instead will link into The Oak National Academy. They have teachers talking you through your lessons and then have some activities to complete too. It will be nice for you to have someone to guide you through things.

Your English is a 3 week Talk 4 Writing unit (like we would look at in class) but I have also added some Hamilton activities on there if you fancy a change. You will be able to work through all of these at your own pace but there is enough for you to complete a lesson every day.

Remember, there are lots of other activities on our class home learning page that I have posted over the past 8 weeks... so feel free to go back and have a look at anything you might have missed too.

If there is something you are really missing, or would really love to have more of, then please email me. I am here and I will do whatever I can to help you all.

Sending you all my love and hoping that you are all safe and well.

Thank you for the lovely emails I have received showing me what you have been doing. I really do love to hear from you all, so please feel free to keep them coming.

Take care of yourselves and remember how proud I am of you all for being so strong during these unusual times.

Lots of love always,

Mrs Mallabar xx
